Things to do

Perth and its surrounds provide an incredible backdrop to a diverse range of festivals and activities throughout the year. They are easy to access and also relatively affordable, with many free of charge. Check out the i-Walk City of Perth Trails.

The regional areas of Western Australia also offer unique experiences for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts.

There's plenty to do… you just need to know where to find it!

  Nature and wildlife

Did you know that Western Australia is four times the size of Texas?

That means that the State has several climates, and a spectacular array of geographical features and diverse wildlife.

You can frolic with dolphins, view immense wildflower displays, go whale watching, walk amongst the tops of giant ancient trees, snorkel with schools of tropical fish and explore hiking trails as long as 1,000 kilometres... all without leaving Western Australia!
