Australian Square Kilometre Array (AuSKA)is over fifty times more powerful than the world’s largest existing telescope. It will help to answer fundamental questions about the evolution of the universe. The mid-west of Western Australia is one of two sites short-listed for the location of the SKA. |

The Lions Eye Institute (LEI)is the largest eye research institute in the southern hemisphere which focuses on the early detection and prevention of blinding eye disease. LEI offers specialty medical training for students and professionals aboard, allowing them to return to their region with a higher level of skill. |
